Cross Video Days call for projects 2016

7th Edition PARIS JUNE 8-10, 2016

You have either a VR, transmedia or webseries project in the works? Only 12 days remaining to attend Cross Video Days Content Market in Paris and meet among the most emblematic broadcasters, online platforms and funds on June 10th! Submissions are free and unlimited. Applications are open until Monday, March 21, 2016 included

This year again we aim to showcase the best of international digital creation, whithout any restrictiction regarding the genres. Documentary, fiction, animation, educational programs … will again be honored through the four following categories of projects:

  • Interactive projects (eg. serious games, webdoc, mobile applications …)
  • Web linear projects (eg. Webseries, web fiction …)
  • Immersive projects (eg. virtual reality or augmented projects, 360° …)
  • Multi-platform projects (eg. cross or transmedia projects …)

In partnership with Le Marché du Film of Cannes, the 4 best Fictional feature length projects will have the opportunity to be pitched both at Cannes in May and Paris in June.

New Format
New this year is the fact that 1-to-1 Meetings with potential financiers and decision makers will be organized separately on June 10th, a third day exclusively for market players, so you can make all your meetings in a friendly atmosphere while attending also to all the conferences, pitching sessions and Commissioners’ keynotes the previous days.

Conditions:
Submissions are free of charge and unlimited. Deadline is March 21th included. The selection results will be sent to all participants by email by mid-April.

Selected project holders who will confirm their fee-based registration within 15 days after official results, could benefit from these advantages:
● Exclusive access to Cross Video Days Content Market on June 10th (1 Day Pass) or access to all event (3 Days pass): including all conferences, pitch sessions, workshops, Commissioners’ keynotes,  VR demo space.
● Pre-organized one-to-one meetings with interactive Commissioners from leading international TV channels, online broadcasters, Funding Bodies or MCNs.
● Public pitch opportunity for the best 20 projects.

The workshop is open to 20 participants (15 with projects – also in team -, and max. 5 observers) and targets scriptwriters, filmmakers, directors, producers, new media content creators, advertising executives and interaction designers.

The interactive documentary workshop runs parallel to the DOCM at Visions du Réel which takes place from the 15th to the 23rd of April 2016 in Nyon, Switzerland. The interactive documentary workshop will take place as part of the DOCM activities and all the case-studies presentations will be open to the public (www.idw.supsi.ch).
