Toronto: tutti i vincitori

Il pubblico del Toronto International Film Festival ha decretato i vincitori della 42° edizione che si è svolta dal 7 al 17 settembre. A vincere il Grolsch People’s Choice è stato Tre manifesti a Ebbing, Missouri di Martin McDonagh (premiato anche a Venezia per la sceneggiatura). Secondi a pari merito si sono piazzati I, Tonya di Craig Gillespie e Call Me By Your Name di Luca Guadagnino.

Winner: Joseph Kahn’s “Bodied”
Second runner-up: Craig Zahler’s “Brawl in Cell Block 99”
First runner-up: James Franco’s “The Disaster Artist”

Documentary:
Winner: Agnès Varda and JR’s “Faces Places”
First runner-up: Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas De Pencier’s “Long Time Running”
Second runner-up: Morgan Spurlock’s “Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken!”

International Platoform award:
Winner: Warwick Thornton’s “Sweet Country”

Winner: Huang Hsin-Yao’s “The Great Buddha+”

Winner: Marc-Antoine Lemire’s “Pre-Drink”

Winner: Niki Lindroth von Bahr’s “The Burden”
