Through the Toscana Film Commission, as part of the Accordo di Programma Quadro Sensi Contemporanei – Toscana per il cinema, the Fondazione Sistema Toscana is supporting an incentive for the audio-visual sector of €350,000 with a call for applications from Italian, European and overseas productions and projects with Italian executive production.
Projects eligible to apply are: feature-length drama films for theatrical release, TV dramas and TV drama series running over 52 minutes long. The maximum contribution for each project is €100,000 to cover 50% of costs (80% for difficult films) provided that the amount spent in the territory is at least 150% of the grant received.
Each company may apply for the present call for applications with one project only.
Italian companies applying must have been listed in the Registro delle Imprese (Register of Companies) at least 24 months preceding the date of publication of the incentive and must be either the single producer of the project or co-producers with a majority stake. The European and overseas companies applying must have been established and listed on the national equivalent of the Registro delle Imprese at least 24 months before the date of publication of the incentive and must have the majority stake in the project being presented.
The deadline for applications is 6 July, equivalent to 20 days from the date of publication of the call for applications.
